July 2010 Findings

Content's share of time has reached a 2010 high – the largest share of any category this year.

Community had its largest decrease in share of time ever, driven by declines at Facebook (-14%) and Myspace.com (-17%).

Commerce’s share of time reached a 2010 high, with Etsy (+76%), MathXL (+38%), and Symantec (+35%) having the largest increases in time spent.

Search’s share of time had its largest increase since 2008, spurred by Bing (+22%) and Ask (8%).
