Job Submission Guidelines

Any OPA Member or Supporter may submit job postings for inclusion on our Industry Jobs page. Prior to submission, please review the job posting guidelines below.

Required Information

  • Job Title: this should be as brief as possible, while accurately describing the available position. If the title is vague or non-specific, it may help to include the department (e.g. "Director, Ad Operations").
  • URL for Details: supply a link for each job posting where users may get complete information on a job description and/or instructions on how to apply.
  • Company: the name of the specific company seeking to fill the position.
  • Location: the US city and state where the position is based.
    (Note: Currently we are only accepting US listings.)
  • Category: select the category which best fits the job posting. Categories include Accounting & Finance, Administrative, Editorial & Production, Intern, Marketing & Sales, and IT Operations & Engineering.
  • Contact Name, Phone and Email Address: this information will not be included in the posting -- it is simply required in case we need to contact you regarding your submission.

Additional Guidelines

  • Posting Procedure: the OPA will review all submissions before they are posted to the Industry Jobs page. If there are any questions or issues regarding your submission(s), an OPA representative will contact you.
  • Capitalization: please switch off your Caps Lock key before entering job submissions. You will be asked to re-submit if your posting is received in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
  • Posting Date: for new submissions, this field will be the date when the posting first appears on the OPA site. For renewed postings (see Expiration below), this will be the date when the renewal is submitted.
  • Expiration: all postings will expire 45 days from the posting date. On Monday of the week a posting is due to expire, you will be notified via email and given instructions for renewing the posting, if desired. Any posting which is not renewed prior to expiration will need to be re-submitted.
  • Posting Removal or Modification: if you need to edit the content or request removal of a posting prior to expiration, please use our email form, selecting "Industry Jobs" in the subject dropdown. Please specify the job title, the posting date, and the modifications you are requesting.
  • Right of Refusal: the OPA reserves the right to refuse any job submission which it deems inappropriate or otherwise unsuitable for posting. If and when this occurs, an OPA representative will contact you.
  • Exclusivity of Service: Job submissions are only accepted from OPA Members and Supporters. Please do not share the URL for the job submission form with other companies or agencies, as their submissions will not be posted.
