Online Publishers Association Kicks Off 2010 Eyes on the Internet Tour on June 16
NEW YORK, NY &mdash: May 3, 2010 &mdash: The Online Publishers Association (OPA), today announced the schedule and program for its 2010 Eyes on the Internet tour. The six city road show, now in its seventh year, is designed to update executives in the advertising, marketing and publishing communities on the most recent research and trends in online media and marketing. Beginning in Detroit on June 16th, this year's Eyes on the Internet tour will debut “A Sense of Place: Why Environments Matter,” which explores how environment impacts advertising receptivity and response.
The research was conducted by Harris Interactive.
“This new research will further crystallize what previous research has shown: that the placement of ads and the environment in which they reside is key to generating brand favorability, raising awareness and driving consumer purchases,” said Pam Horan, president of the OPA. “We will be unveiling deeper insights on the impact of ad placement and environment.”
The 2010 Eyes on the Internet tour will take place from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM on the following dates:
June 16th; Detroit area at The Townsend Hotel
June 17th; Chicago at theWit Hotel
June 23rd; Atlanta at The Grand Hyatt
June 24th; New York at New World Stages
June 29th; San Francisco at The St. Regis Hotel
June 30th; Los Angeles at The Regent Beverly Wilshire
Audience members will be among the first to see the new research findings and hear a panel of marketing, agency and publishing experts provide powerful insights on topics such as:
How different online environments connect with consumers – and how this impacts brands
Consumer engagement with content and why it matters to advertisers
Multi-channel consumer touch points and how they offer brands unique advantages
Key online advertising implications to the media, marketers and agencies.
